Answer
Answer

In the name of Allah the Greatest

1) Human hair will grow wheather or not you cut it or not cut it. The saying that if ones cut’s the hair it will grow faster is a myth proved false by science.

If you are referring to the cutting of ?split ends? then this is permissible as it promotes health and growth of hair. Anything more than this is not permissible. Cutting split ends only constitutes a simple one or two millimetre and is thus permissible.

If a lady is cutting her hair so that it looks fashionable but is using the reason of cutting for healthy growth as an excuse, then this is not permissible as her intention is erroneous to begin with. Hence, you must first make the correct intention before you undertake the cutting of your hair.

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam forbade women from shaving their hair.? (Tirmidhi, Pg 246)

I have quoted the following from Mufti Muhammad Ibn Adams answer regarding the general cutting of womens hair:

The main two reasons given by scholars for the impermissibility of women cutting their hair are:

a) Imitation of the Kuffar (non-Muslims),

b) Imitation of men,

Both of which have been clearly prohibited in Shariah.

Cutting the hair in any way that resembles the hair of men is unlawful (haram), as mentioned previously. Therefore, if a woman cuts her hair from the lower end slightly in order to equate the level of the hairs, then this will be permissible.

It should be noted that, if the hair is cut, then it should be well below the shoulders, and this permissibility is only to cut it slightly. If the woman is married, then this should be done with the consent of her husband.

As mentioned earlier if you are cutting your hair with the intention of fashion then this is incorrect and will not earn any Thawaab (reward).

2) Yes, you are allowed to pray Salaah with mehendi on (please refer to previous answers on this topic in the ladies section).

3) Suede can be made from is pigskin, goatskin, sheepskin, and/or cow skin. If it is made from pigskin then it would not be permissible to wear or pray Salaah in. if made from anything other than pig skin then it is permissible to wear and pray Salaah in as long as the animal leather has been purified in the right manner. (Hidayaah, Nurul Idhaa, Shami).

And Allah (swt) knows best
