Urine drops and Istibraa’

Q: I am very worried abut my situation in which I am going through nowadays. Actually I have one problem that after finishing the toilet every time after a little while few drops of urine comes out. Maybe it comes out during the wudu or in the prayer. I can’t change clothes after every time I go to the bathroom or during work. I also don’t want to leave namaz because of this. Please what should I do? Shall I continue if it happens again during the namaz. I took medicine but its not working.

A: After passing urine, do not make wudhu immediately. Instead wait for a little while (e.g. 15-20 minutes). Place tissue paper on that area so that the remainder urine drops will be absorbed in the tissue paper. Once all the urine drops have come out you should make wudhu and perform your Salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
