Picking the roses or any other flowers that grow on the Musjid premises

Q: Is it permissible to pick the roses or any other flowers that grow on the masjid premises or in its yard, without damaging the plant and without the intention of selling them?

A: If the trustees do not mind in picking up roses etc. it is permissible.

لو غرس شجرة للمسجد فثمرتها للمسجد (الشامية 1/661), غرس فى المسجد أشجاراً تثمر إن غرس للسبيل فلكل مسلم الأكل وإلّا فتباع لمصالح المسجد (الدر المختار مع الشامية 4/432)
