Saying aameen in Salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

When we pray salah individually do we say ameen after reciting surah fatiha? or is that only when praying in congregation behind an imam?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

When a person performs salah by himself, he should say the aameen after surah fatihah.[1]
