My brother has completed his education and is looking for a job. My father is no more so I am responsible for all his needs. I pay him some amount of money as his monthly expenses. So can I make intention of zakah while giving him the money and will my zakah be valid?
Answer:

If you give your zakah to your brother and make him its owner then your zakah shall be paid and your brother shall be free to spend it where he wishes.
