Men becoming Gynaecologists

Q: Are Muslim men allowed to become Gynaecologists?

A: It is not recommended as they will be exposed to many things that are inappropriate.

ويمنعها من زيارة الأجانب وعيادتهم والوليمة وإن أذنت كانا عاصيين

قوله ( والوليمة ) ظاهره ولو كانت عند المحارم لأنها تشتمل على جمع فلا تخلو من الفساد عادة (شامي 3/603)

كتب عمر رضي الله عنه إلي حذيفة بن اليمان رضي الله عنهما: اعزم عليك الاتضع كتابي حتى تخلي سبيلها فاني اخاف ان يقتديك المسلمون فيختاروا نساء اهل الذمة لجمالهن وكفى بذلك فتنة لنساء المسلمين (كتاب الآثار)
