Q: Are Muslims allowed to sell dogs ?
A: It is permissible to sell a dog trained to do specific jobs such as guarding, hunting, etc or which can be trained for such jobs when there is a need. (Raddul Muhtaar 20:294; Al Fataawa Al Hindiyyah 3:114) It will not be permissible to sell other dogs that are kept merely for pets. And Allah knows best.
