Nose bleeding: If the blood is inside the nose but doesn’t flow, does it break wudu?

I read the post below…what if, due to dryness of the winter, blood comes out on tissue that is used to wipe the inside of the nose? — it seems the blood is there and does not flow, but when a tissue rubs against it, it spreads onto the tissue. Is wudu broken in such an instance?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa ‘alaykum al-salam

Blood flowing onto a part of one’s outer body nullifies ablution. The inside of the mouth and the nose up to the bone also counts as the outer body as one is obliged to wash these areas in the ritual bath. In a case like this where it is hard to verify whether the blood flowed or not one will have to return to one’s reasonable surety. If one feels reasonably sure that the blood actually flowed out of the wound then one’s ablution is nullified otherwise it is not. The detailed reply below outlines the various cases of nose bleeds that one is likely to experience.
