My parents are aged now, they have 4 sons and 3 daughters. All of them have got married and living independently & separately except one younger brother is left to be married. Parents has only one house as a property and they my younger brother are currently living in that house only. Now my parents wants to distribute the house property share to all the members of the family proportionately. What my question is how much each member will get the share according to shari’ah.
Answer:
Since your parents are still alive and wish to distribute the house now to all members of the family (their children), they should distribute it equally to them.
