assalamualikum… my question here is that my mother and v girls have come down to mumbai. our father is not with us here he is in working abroad .v have no other mehram here and it is very difficult for us to travel due to the harresment of rishaw person and locals in trains.we wear complete hijab .can v drive in hijab? and we have to travel a lot for colleges and schools…plz suggest jazakallah

Yes, you can drive in order to fulfil your needs with full hijab provided there is no mixing with non-mahram. Driving in itself is makrooh (undesirable) for women, but in the case mentioned above it is allowable only as much as necessary.
