Is it permissible to place a cloth with Quranic verses written on it atop a coffin?

Assalamualaikum 1-Is it permissible to put a cloth with the verses of Quran written on it on top a Coffin or a Janazah for blessings and then take it off before burial?

Answer:

(Fatwa: 267/230=D/1430)

It is not proved to put such cloth. Also, it amounts to desecration of Quranic verses; therefore it is unlawful.
