What is the exact amount of zakah I have to pay on 120g gold and 200g silver?

I have 120 gm gold with me and 200 gm of silver. Please calculate and tell me exact amount of zakah, I am supposed to pay every year.

Answer

(Fatwa: 1154/968/B=1433)

When you intend to pay zakah i.e. after passing the year then go to gold market and ask the price of 120 gram gold and 200 gram silver and pay fortieth part of their total cost as zakah. Likewise, give the fortieth part of cash as well in zakah. It is the zakah of whole wealth.
