Is it permissible to scold Arabs, even if they commit sins, in light of Quran & Hadith?

as salam alaikum, i want to ask that i stay in saudi arabia here the local saudi guys make some sins (stealing, etc,.) from kharji people. the victims scold some times use bad words in the name of arab is it good. because i came to listen that prophet SAS told dont scold arabs because i am an arab. please clarify in the light of quran & hadith.

Yes, such hadith exists, the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited to abuse the Arabs. We should not used bad words for Arabs in any condition. Suppose if some Arab committed theft, there is nothing wrong to condemn the theft, but it is unlawful to blame the Arabs. It is against the hadith, we should avoid it.
