Reciting manzil without wudhu

Q: Is it permissible to read manzil without wudu?

A: If one is reading by heart, it will be permissible. However it is impermissible to read from the kitaab since the verses contained in it are from the Qur’an.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ ﴿الواقعة: ٧٩﴾

عن ابن عمر : عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال لا تقرأ الحائض ولا الجنب شيئا من القرآن (ترمذي #131)
