Can you document a daily routine chart for us as Muslim to follow?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by IslamicSolutions.org

Shortened Question:

Can you document a daily routine chart for us as Muslim to follow?

Question:

I have checked many websites, but I am unable to find a routine chart for us as Muslims to follow on a daily basis. Some charts are available, but they are incomplete.

Can you prepare a chart that would include the step by step routine for Muslims to follow daily, starting with Tahajud salat and continues with the different ibaadats for the day? If possible could you also include important Islamic dates as well, for example days on which one is required to fast?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Jazakallah for your e-mail and suggestion.

Alhamdulillah the procedure suggested by yourself is effective and is implemented at our Darul Iftaa for the students. The book is called Mamoolaat Book with columns for Farz Salat with Jamaah, Salaathul Ishraaq, Salaatul Duha, Zikr, Tilawat of Quran, Awwabeen and Tahajud Salah.

The book is checked and the students’ spiritual programme is monitored. The same procedure is adopted in the final year students of Darul Uloom Numaniyyah, Chatsworth where I teach. We did prepare a Moomulaat Chart before for the public as well, on the basic things to do.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
