Ruling on the Drops Discharged after Urinating

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Darul Iftaa Jordan
I sometimes have doubts about the drops that come out after urinating although I lower my gaze when it comes to non-Mahram women and I`m keen on praying on time.Further, these drops are thick and white secretion that comes out often. What should I do? And what is the ruling on these drops?

Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions.

The discharged secretion is calledWadi (Thick, white secretion that comes out after urinating) and it has the same ruling of urine since discharging drops invalidates ablution. Moreover, we advise you not to make your ablution immediately after urinating and delay it until you are sure that the drops in your penis have stopped, but if they hadn`t, then you should make ablution for each prayer. In addition, your prayer is valid even if you have discharged drops while performing it, because Sharia gives a concession topatients of urinary incontinence. And Allah knows best.
