Can a person read a para for two separate khatams ? eg .
A person in his personal khatam he is reading the 7th para and in a group khatam he has been assigned the 7th para can he read the 7th para once with both niyaat in mind
Answer:
Yes, you can one can have two intentions when reciting one Para such as reciting Surah Kahf on Friday when it also coincides with one’s routine tilaawat of the Quran.

وأما إذا نوى نافلتين كما إذا نوى بزكعئ الفجر التحية والسئة أجزات عنهما وللإ أر حكم ما إذا نوى ستتين كما إذا نوى في يؤم الاثنين صؤمة عنة وعن يؤم عرفة إذا وافقة فإن نافلة التحية إنما كانث ضمنا للسئة لخصول المقصود
