QUESTION:
As-salaamu ‘Alaikum Mufti saab,
Is it permissible to get a septum piercing? I am aware that you cannot pierce your nose for attraction/attention/fashion purposes, but if the ring itself is a very tiny one, barely noticeable, can you do it?

Wa Alaikumus Salaam
Some scholars have stated that Septum piercing takes the same ruling as nose piercing. It will be permissible (as mentioned by some scholars),as long as it is not done to follow the unislamic culture and fashion.
