Question: Aslaamu Alaikum,

I pray you are well.

A Muslim writes the questions below to a Mufti/Maulana to inquire the ruling on such matter.
Does writing the following questions make him a non Muslim? Although it was to inquire
a ruling on such matter and the person has never said the statements below, he still writes ‘me’ in one of the questions
or refers to himself in one of the questions, which he wrote to the Mufti. Does referring to himself when he has never said
the statements below make him a non Muslim?

Question:

A person says: ‘ I am not Muslim, I denounce Islam’.
1) If not sure of the intention at the time of saying this
statements, does that make me a non-Muslim?Please can u give me an
answer for this particular question.

2) If the person has no intention to denounce Islam and he says the
above statement with no intention, does that make him
non-Muslim?Please can u give me an answer for this particular question.

Jazakalla khair
