Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Why did Allah allow Sulaiman (As) to create statues in Chapter 34 Verse 13?

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

According to the majority of the mufassireen, building statues was permissible in the Sharee’ah of Sulayman (alaihissalam), but is forbidden in the Sharee’ah of Muhammad (sallallahualaihiwasallam).[1]

Only Allah knows best.
