Q: I’m a 31 year old Muslim girl. When I was 22, I fall in love and had sexual relations with a boy. I tried to marry him but he ran away. Now I’m getting married to someone my family chose. I’m confused whether I should tell my future husband about my past or not? He is 37 years old.
A: Do not reveal this sin. It is not permissible for one to reveal his/her sins before people. Repent to Allah Ta’ala and ask him to forgive you for your sin.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
