Washing one’s head when a lizard falls on oneself

Q: Please explain the logic in this. A lizard fell on my mom, then my grandma told my mom to wash her head, then only can she perform Salah, otherwise it’s not permissible, is that correct?

A: This is baseless superstition.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
