Q: What is the ruling regarding giving my domestic helper a bonus wage along with her wages at the end of the year?
A: It is good to give the bonus, but let it be at the end of the Islamic year or at the end of Ramadhaan or at Baqrah Eid so as to abstain from imitating kuffaar styles, ways, and celebrations etc.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
