5 Times Namaz: Do You Need to Make Up Missed Prayers?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If anyone starts to offer 5 times namaz at any time of his life, so is it mandatory for him to offer all the due salats (Qaza-e-umri) first, which he has not been prayed since he was 12 years old?

Bismillaah

A: It is mandatory for him to do both, the namaaz of the time and the namaaz that he missed out.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
