Husband doesn’t want to have a child

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I want to have a baby and my husband does not want. We are both in our 40s and he says he is too old. I have tried talking to him but he doesn’t want to listen. Iasked him maybe we can go see a Moulana and get some counselling but he says no. Is there anything else I can do?

Bismillaah

A: It is wrong of him to avoid getting children. He is violating your rights.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
