Can Women Remove Hair During Menstruation?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible for women in menses to remove hair from their faces and legs?

Bismillaah

A: In the state of haidh (menses) it is makrooh for women to remove their unwanted hair. Hence they should refrain from removing their hair in their menses. However if the facial hair looks conspicuous, then it will be permissible to remove it.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
