Is it permissible to give my son name Muhammed Hadi?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

can i give my son name muhammad hadi

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

Nabi (salallāhu ‘alayhiwasallam) said regarding the keeping of good names: “Indeed you shall be called on the day of Qiyaamah with your names and the names of your fathers, so give good names to yourselves”. [1]

It is advisable for one to keep names of the Anbiyaa, Sahabah, Taabi’een and pious predecessors.

It is permissible for you to name your son Mohammed Hadi.[2]

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
