Question

I accidentally stumbled across some online videos while I searched for scientific miracles of the Quran. I feel like the videos employ tactics of deception. Since I watched it, my Faith has been very low. Would you please assist?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate. May Allah guide every dimension of our lives to that which pleases Him.

Many dangers come with learning Din from the internet, and, unfortunately, you have been victim to some of this. Instead of random viewing of online content that is often hard to authenticate, I want to advise that you sign up for one of the cost-free, organized, trustworthy, and reliable courses on SeekersGuidance.org.

Besides fulfilling your desire to learn, the courses would be a terrific way to address the unfortunate decrease in Faith you have suffered. Remember to turn to Allah and seek refuge from the traps of Shaytan and his tools of deception, and Allah knows best.

I pray this is of benefit and that Allah guides us all.
