Q: Can I give money for zakat al-Fitr
A: You can must give one ṣāʿ of wheat, barley, dates, raisins, or dried yogurt. The best is dates, then raisins, then wheat, and then the most beneficial. If those are unavailable, any storable grain will suffice. Cash should not be given.
