What If I Forget Some of the Obligatory Acts of the Ritual Bath (Ghusl)?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Question: If I make ghusl but remember afterwards that I forgot some of the obligatory acts of ghusl, i.e, washing the face, nose, or some other part of the body, does it still count as ghusl?

Answer: In the Name of Allah, the Benevolent, the Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.

Order isn’t obligatory in ghusl (or wudu). [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

Thus, if something was omitted (with certainty, as doubts are ignored), one simply washes that area, and nothing else is required.

And Allah alone gives success.
