What Is The Excused Amount of Heavy Physical Impurity?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Question: What is the excused amount of heavy physical impurity?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

The excused amount of heavy physical impurity is the weight of one dirham for solid impurities and the size of one dirham for liquids [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah].

The equivalent measurements of the dirham are 5 grams of weight for solids and 5cm in diameter for liquids.

English measurements were taken from the book, Ascent to Felicity by Imam Shurunbulali, translated by Shaykh Faraz Khan.

Hope this helps
