Is It Permissible to Get Fillers Under My Eyes?

Question: Assalam aleykum

I have tried so many products for dark circles under my eyes. The fact that I’m starting to look older than my husband really upsets me. I feel like he is no longer attracted to me like he used to be before. In the morning I even avoid making eye contact with him. That’s how ugly I feel.

Is it possible for me to get fillers under my eyes?

Answer: assalamu alaykum

Yes, it would be permissible for you to use fillers under your eyes.

The only thing I would caution you regarding is the ingredients contained in the fillers as it may contain collagen sourced from pigs or impermissible animals. These should be avoided unless medically needed. Otherwise, one should opt for fillers that contain collagen synthetically produced in a lab setting.
