Is it alright to swear in extreme situations…to get a point across to those who don’t understand in other ways

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the name of Allah the Inspirer of Truth

It does not behoove a Muslim to use bad or abusive language in such a situation. The Messenger of Allah (upon him be peace) said, “Cursing a Muslim is a transgression.”

Allah says in the Qur’an:

But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (God)… (Taha 20:44)

Yet speak to them a word of easy kindness… (Bani-Israel 17:28).

The servants of the All-Merciful are those who walk lightly on the earth and, who, when the ignorant speak to them, say, “Peace.” (Surat al-Furqan: 63)

A Muslim is required to display good character in all circumstances. Insha Allah, the softness of your heart and good character will eventually win this person over.

And Allah knows best.
