In the name of Allah the Majestic
After evaluating your dreams I can say that it is more of what you want to see, the man is married and it is unlawful to have any form of connection to him. You have misunderstood the entire meaning of the dream from the very start!
?His appearance matched the one that I had in the dream in May?. The human mind can make mistakes and in this case it has.
?Time passed many times and we crossed paths many times?. How and why was this so when the man is married?
If I”ve done istikhara for 3 years and it came out positive what does that mean? The Adaab of istikhara is that you do not do so for years on end. Istikara means to seek Goodness in something from Allah (Talabul Khair).
This man is not the person you saw in your dream. Many a time you cannot take a dream at face value. At times they could be hidden meanings in dreams. Do not pursue this dream any further. Inshallah you will marry someone who is of benefit for you.
Lastly, . I”ve confided with malvi”s across the country and they said only Allah knows best.
It is not right to ask so many Ulamaa after receiving the answer from few. You are merely following your own wants and desires by doing so. And your dreams are of that nature also. They are called ?nafsaniyah? (dreams of the self) in that you see what you want to see or feel. Please move on with your life now and don’t let such dreams determine the way you live your life.
If in future you have a dream of some sort ask Allah to show you the goodness in it and to protect you from the harm it may show.
And Allah the Greatest knows best
