Non-Muslims entering the Musjid

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1. What is the shar’i rule about the non-Muslims entering the Musjid or jamaat khana or musalla for a visit or attending a nikaah or for cleaning purpose or else?

2. Is there any difference generally in the shar’i law between a Musjid and a jamat khana?

Bismillaah

A:

1. If they maintain all the respect for the musjid and cover their bodies well, it will be permissible.

2. A jamaat khana does not have any shar`ee significance.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
