Q: The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, “(There are two words which are dear to the most gracious (Allah Ta’ala) and very easy for the tongue to say, but very heavy in the balance. They are:

Subhan Allahi Wa Bihamdihi – Subhan Allahil-Azim

What does very heavy in the balance mean?

Bismillaah

A: It will make the balance of deeds weighty and heavy.

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كلمتان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان في الميزان سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم (صحيح البخاري رقم 7563)

قوله خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان في الميزان وصفهما بالخفة والثقل لبيان قلة العمل وكثرة الثواب (فتح الباري 13/550)
