Q: Is it permissible to recite Tafsir or Hadith books in PDF/TEXT format from the computer without wudhu?

 

A: Yes

الأمة أجمعت على أن ما كان بين الدفتين مكتوبا بقلم الوحي فهو من القرآن ( بدائع الصنائع 1/203,فصل أما سننها فكثيرة, دار الكتاب العربي)
