Qurbaani of an Animal Whose Sight is Impaired

Q: Can an animal whose eyesight is impaired be slaughtered for qurbaani?

A: If more than one-third of the animal’s eyesight is lost, it will not suffice for qurbaani.

ولا تجوز العمياء والعوراء البين عورها … ولو ذهب بعض هذه الأعضاء دون بعض من الأذن و الألية و الذنب والعين … فإن كان ذهب الثلث أو أقل جاز وإن كان أكثر لايجوز (الهندية ص297-298 ج5)
