Q: We know that angels are infallible, but what about the story of Haroot and Maroot, when they taught people magic, were they not sinning when teaching people magic?

Bismillaah

A: They were not sent to mislead. Rather, they were sent to show people the difference between magic and the mu’jizah and miracles of the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam).

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
