Q: I am from Sri Lanka and I think you know that in the gazette of Sri Lanka, they banned the niqaab. We can’t cover our face.
In this current situation, what do we have to do? What type of mujaahada does Allah expect from us?
A: The woman’s original place is the house. Without any absolute and valid reason she should not venture out of the house. There are women in other countries who use oxygen masks and big coloured goggles to cover their face. Some use surgical masks as well.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
