Working from another country

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: A person is employed in a company based in Australia. This company does not require them to work at the company office but allows them to work from home (it is an IT based job). Ever since they have been employed with this company they have not had to come into the office. Now, can this person continue working with this company after moving overseas without informing his employer that he is not longer physically in Australia?

Bismillaah

A: If they allow him to do the job from wherever he is, he does not have to inform them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
