Pronunciation of الله أكبر

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Do we say ‘Allahu Akbar’ or ‘Allahu Akbor’. I read in a book that if we say ‘Allahu Akbar’ then the meaning changes. Is it true? I have been saying ‘Allahu Akbar’ since last five years.

Bismillaah

A: The correct wording in Arabic is اَللهُ أكْبَرْ

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
