Q: What is the ruling when it comes to surgery, for example, having an appendix removed or getting a kidney transplant etc?

Bismillaah

A: Removing the appendix for medical reasons is permissible but transplanting is impermissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
