Wiping oneself after wudhu

Q: A person told me that after performing wudhu one should not wipe himself dry because the dripping water purifies us from sins. Is this right?

Bismillaah

A: It is permissible to wipe yourself though it is not at all wrong not to wipe.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
