Q: I have 3 children alhamdulillah. Last one is a new baby boy. I wanted to keep his name Zayyan or Ehan but one of my naighbours said not to keep these names as they have no meaning in Arabic, they look more Indian. Is this true ? And can we keep such names?
A: You rather keep the names of the Ambiyaa or the pious.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
