Marriage Struggle: Parents vs Love – Seeking Advice

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I want to ask question related to my marriage issue… I want to marry a boy but my parents are not allowing it. Its is 2 years since we are struggling to make our relationship halaal but my parents are not supporting. I then asked the boy to leave because my parents are not willing, but he is not also willing to leave. I am in deep distess. I am unable to solve this mystery. On the one side there are my parents and on the other side is the one who loves me a lot and cannot stay without me. Please suggest what can I do? Is Allah testing me?

Bismillaah

A: There is no need to stress. Just break all relationships completely. Be blunt and straight with him.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
