Listening to Qur’an while doing house work

Q: While doing my household activities or even doing my assignments, can I play the audio of different Surahs from Qur’an. Whether I am listening or not as I want to prevent myself from thinking Shaitaani things while doing any work.

Bismillaah

A: This is not the best thing. The respect of the Qur’an demands that one listen attentively when the recitation is playing.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
