Husband telling the wife “pack up and go”

Q: When the husband in an angry mood tells his wife to pack up and go to her families house and that he is tired of her, will this terminate the nikaah (marriage)?

Bismillaah

A: If the husband had the intention of talaaq at the time of uttering these words, then one talaaq-e-baain had taken place. If he did not have any intention of talaaq, then no talaaq had taken place.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
