Writing assignments and lab reports

Q: I am nowadays doing freelancing work in which I do data entry, academic writing like assignments and lab reports. I want to know that is the earning by this way halaal or not? If halal, give me reason and if not give me the reason also.

Bismillaah

A: If the work you are employed for is of a permissible nature and there is nothing impermissible associated with it, then your earnings are halaal.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
