Keeping the name “Shahbaz”

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Will it be ok to name a child the name Shahbaz (I think it means means “King of Falcons” in Persian), or would such a name indicate takabbur and fall into the same category as “King of Kings” that has been condemned in hadith?

Bismillaah

A: Rather keep a name of the pious.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
